  • Last saturday, my little cousin fell off his horse.  He got a concussion when he hit the ground and he got life flighted to Pittsburgh.  He is 9 years old and this is not his first major injury.  He has broken his collar bone and probably did something else that I didn't know of since he has only been in the family for a few years.

He must have done something to make his horse mad or something to make him get thrown.  His horse is old and has a really good temperament.  He needs some help in my opinion.  He is always picking fights, even with people he knows he can't beat in a fight.

He wrestles so he at least can get rid of some his energy during the wrestling season.

He is going to have to take it easy for about a month and he is not going to be that happy about it.  He hates not being able to ride his quad or his horse.

I just hope that he didn't get to serious a concussion.  If he did he will have trouble with what he has to come.

  • Sing loud; live louder

If you heard a story about how some kids at a youth group really started to live for Jesus and transform their lives, what do you think would have to happen? Imagine it. Praying harder; worshipping with all that they had; studying their bibles not only for an hour on Sundays...imagine what God could do with every hour of our lives, not just  six to eight on Sunday nights! Imagine the church they attended. People had to take notice. They had to see a change; they had to see Jesus in these kids. They had to see God move.

1 Timothy 4:12 says "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity."

You can set an example for people older than you. How cool is that? People can look at you and see Christ. Can't you see? He's urging us. He's calling us. He's craving for this whole-hearted change. He wants you to prove the people wrong who think that teenagers don't "get" faith. He wants you to live for him, to set an example. He's speaking to us, everyday, and the youth at Center Church are going to make a difference. They're letting their voices be heard. In this blog you'll hear from them -prayer requests, answered prayers, devotions, scriptures - things that God put in their lives to be heard.

God's working in their lives. He's working in all of our lives. Do you hear it? Can you feel it? Can you see God move?
